We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor.
This role is located in both Fort Worth, TX headquarters and the Classified SIL in Arlington, TX with occasional travel to Amarillo, TX and Huntsville, AL as required per business needs.
Cybersecurity Test Engineer (Across Multiple Levels)
Bring your experience to become a cyber test engineer and be responsible for adversarial, verification and certification of aircraft systems and components for test and evaluation of manned and optionally manned aircraft. You’ll work with test pilots, design engineers and simulation lab engineers to develop and implement test scenarios, test procedures and test plans that will improve aircraft security using advanced cyber tools and benches. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.
What you’ll be doing as a Cybersecurity Test Engineer
- Take part in the organization, planning, and management of new and existing aircraft to conduct cyber testing to meet customer defined requirements supporting aircraft qualification, security assessments, requirements validation and penetration testing.
- Build and integrate custom tools, tests, and research test equipment provide cutting edge testing to aircraft systems and sensors.
- Develop and execute cybersecurity test procedures based on program test plans for future and existing aircraft systems.
- Support new aircraft and technology development as well as proprietary adversarial testing tools and techniques.
- Create detailed diagrams of data interfaces for Ethernet, serial and various avionics bus protocols and support throughout the entire software development life cycle from requirements definition to product deployment.
- Support test planning and coordination with the customer in the execution of engineering design milestones.
