Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA!

In this role you will provide technical leadership and expertise for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) MK7 program. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing the technical solution for the program, ensuring that manufacturing processes and systems meet program requirements. A key aspect of this position will be leading the effort to ramp up production to meet program delivery schedules, including identifying and mitigating technical risks, and implementing process improvements to achieve rate production.
Basic Qualifications:
- Professional experience in a production environment
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Minimum 9 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace)
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Model Based Production (MBP), including the use of digital twins and other model-based technologies to optimize production processes and systems.
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
- Experience with aerospace or defense programs, preferably with a focus on missile systems or similar technologies
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques, with experience implementing process improvements
- Experience with CAD design and manufacturing simulation tools (e.g. Siemens NX, Simio, etc.)
- Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and dimensional metrology
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Strong understanding of program management principles and practices, including earned value management (EVM) and integrated master scheduling (IMS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
