In this role you will:
• Participate in and lead technical assignments related to manufacture and test of hardware
• Have a hand in the manufacture, qualification, testing, and failure analysis for mechanical parts, materials and processes
• Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, document inspections, tests and rework, report on M&P related manufacturing issues and progress, present to Failure Review Boards and provide feedback to program engineering teams

• Someone with the ability to handle shifting priorities, multiple projects and timeline pressure to meet deadlines

• Someone with the ability to work with management and program representatives at several levels
Basic Qualifications:
• Previous experience in the design, development, and integration of complex aerospace or defense systems
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical or systems engineering principles, methodologies, and tools
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance - must be a U.S. Citizen
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret clearance
• Experience operating through the full lifecycle development process with an emphasis on development, production, and sustainment
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and with other technical disciplines
• Deep technical understanding of missile system disciplines, including but not limited to:
• Propulsion systems and energetics
• Thermal Protection Systems
• Structural systems
• Flight Control systems
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
