Pay Range: $72,800 - $91,520 per year (commensurate with experience)

Regional MRO is an FAA and EASA certified repair station located in Oxnard, CA. We specialize in aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul for the regional airline market. Our customers include SkyWest, Envoy, PSA, GoJet, Endeavor Air, Republic Airways, and CommutAir.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician III to perform advanced structural repairs at the component level. This senior role requires a high level of skill in sheet metal and composite repairs, strict adherence to FAA-approved data, and the ability to mentor less experienced technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and classify component damage; determine appropriate repair procedures.
- Repair cowlings, access doors, fairings, control-surface panels, ducting, and honeycomb/core assemblies.
- Perform drilling, reaming, countersinking, dimpling, and fastener installation (solid & blind rivets, Hi-Lok, nutplates, threaded inserts).
- Cold form dents and deformations in metallic components.
- Mix and apply sealants, aerodynamic smoothing compounds, adhesives, primers, corrosion inhibitors, and composite resins.
- Operate brakes, shears, presses, stretch-formers, rotary tools, and precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges; CMM as assigned).
- Follow SRM, CMM, service bulletins, and RS-DER instructions.
- Maintain tools and equipment; keep a 5S workstation.
- Mentor and support junior technicians (Tech I/II).
- Work Environment
- FAA-certified repair station environment with exposure to aircraft components, solvents, adhesives, paints, noise, and fumes.
- PPE required.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and FAA/DOT drug test; ongoing participation in Anti-Drug & Alcohol program required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
