Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $54.77-$59.77/Hour
Electrical Engineer job in Annapolis Junction, Maryland is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace/Defense company.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with optical, mechanical and software design teams to assist in the overall development of systems
- Plan and lead electrical engineering root cause analysis for electrical issues
- Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results
- Contribute to and maintain documentation
- Specify, select and qualify active and passive components
- Develop and benchspan system performance models
- Develop and implement test procedures, evaluating and selecting appropriate test instrumentation.
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of work performed
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 2+ years of job-related experience or a Masters degree
- Proficient with electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed circuit analysis/design, Xpedition or Allegro preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical assembly and test, communications-related tools (BERT, sampling oscilloscope, OSA)
- Hands on experience with optical communications hardware design and build.
- Familiarity with lab and field testing of prototypes and research and development projects.
