Lockheed Martin Mission Processing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Signal/Image Process Engineer to join our team.

As a Signal/Image Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Designing and developing algorithms and image/signal processing.
• In addition, you will help verify system requirements, and collaborate with team SMEs to come up with models to best evaluate system performance.

This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.

Selected candidate must have a TS/SCI security clearance prior to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Extensive background in STEM (Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, etc)
• Experience in designing, training, and evaluating image processing algorithms in Python or MATLAB
• Selected candidate must have a TS/SCI security clearance prior to start.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of advanced mathematics including Complex Analysis & Fourier Transforms
• Experience in evaluating Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery and remote sensing systems
• Experience in enterprise agile software tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Proven track record leading a small team of engineers.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
