As a Lead Semiconductor Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a technical leader in our semiconductor engineering team, responsible for driving innovation and excellence in semiconductor technology. You will play a pivotal role in advancing our semiconductor solutions, leading complex projects, and mentoring engineers. The Lead Semiconductor Engineer will act as the subject matter expert in the design and development of cutting-edge technologies and solutions. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Puerto Rico location on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead complex semiconductor design and development projects, often involving state-of-the-art technologies and solutions
• Contribute to the development of Honeywells semiconductor technology roadmap, defining the technical vision and strategic direction
• Build Requirements, Design and Simulation
• Conduct Code Synthesis
• Static Timing Analysis/Timing Closure**
• Integration and Test Support
• Prepare Documentation
• Provide Customer Support
• ASIC/FPGA design using Verilog/VHDL and/or verification using System Verilog/UVM
• Define and manage project goals, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with broader business strategies
• Lead failure analysis investigations and implement corrective actions

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor engineering or related field
• Mastery of experience in advanced semiconductor design and product development
• Proficiency in semiconductor design and simulation tools
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and quality control

• Secret clearance (preferred)
• Cyber security background
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
