We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. We challenge what’s possible. From breaking the sound barrier to advanced tiltrotor systems. Today, Bell is shaping the future of aviation through specialized engineering. And we want you.
The MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is the Premier Vertical Lift military program in the world. Bells MV-75 FLRAA aircraft will become the Armys primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Armys assault capabilities. The MV-75 program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army’s tactical advantage in future conflicts. The Bell MV-75 team seeks the top engineering talents from around the industry to design, develop, and deliver the world’s next-generation military aircraft.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX Headquarters. This role will move to the Flight Research Center plant later in 2026 to work full time at the Systems Integration Lab in South Arlington, TX.
FLRAA Electrical Systems IPT Overview
The Electrical Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) is responsible for developing and integrating aircraft electrical power generation & distribution subsystem and interior/exterior lighting.
The team will perform system and software integration, requirements management, system safety assessment, validation and verification testing in systems integration labs, airworthiness qualification, and flight test of these systems.
What you’ll be doing as an Electrical Systems Integration Engineer:
Design Electrical and Lighting Subsystem architecture, requirements management, systems specifications, interface management, system schematics, and integration with other vehicle management / aircraft systems
Reviewing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and statusing activity progress
Coordinating with and managing electrical and avionics system suppliers in the development, integration, and testing of electrical/lighting subsystem components to include processor-based control units, software, high power electrical distribution and switching, and visible/InfraRed lighting
System and software integration, requirements management, systems specifications, interface management, system safety assessment, validation and verification testing in systems integration labs, aircraft flight test, and aircraft/system qualification and certification.
Development of test requirements to drive systems integration lab and flight test aircraft instrumentation design
Perform hardware and software integration testing of multiple systems operating together in a systems integration lab
Support all phases of development from design, qualification, integration testing, flight test, and production.
Coordinating with teams from other disciplines including aerodynamics, propulsion, airframe structures, and rotors
Model-based systems engineering to develop system architectures and define interfaces between components
