Northrop Grumman Advanced Programs is seeking Principal Systems Engineer Model-based Systems Engineer (MBSE) This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package
WHAT YOULL GET TO DO:
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system products to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversation of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a bachelors degree in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of relevant experience, masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 1 years of relevant experience.
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (<6 years), with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
- Must possess Systems Engineering, Architecture, and/or Test experience on a DoD program.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be capable of presenting technical concepts to a diverse group of engineers.
- Experience in collaborating within an integrated team of systems, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions.
- Experience developing systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical)
- Experience with the following tools and languages: DOORs, Cameo, TeamCenter
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Masters degree in a related STEM field is highly preferred.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with analysis/test and verification of requirements.
- Experience and working knowledge of Navy programs.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Sentinelsystems
Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
