Pay Estimate: $40-$50/Hour

Join a highly skilled team developing state-of-the-art Cyber/Information Assurance systems for Submarine Fire Control Systems. This role focuses on test, evaluation, and design verification to ensure compliance with functional and technical requirements for mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements to design and document validation methods
Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and report.
Conduct Verification & Validation (V&V) for software, hardware, and firmware changes
Support informal and formal test events in lab and operational environments
Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects with engineering teams
Configure test labs per design documentation and port maps
Install, verify, and troubleshoot IA software at lab and shipboard locations
Test network configurations, protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, ICMP, encryption), and system interfaces
Operate in fast-paced, integrated DoD product development teams
Assemble and test computer hardware as needed
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering or a related field OR equivalent experience (4+ years)
Experience: 5+ years relevant experience (or Master’s + 3 years)
Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire
Required Skills/Experience:
Navy submarine or surface combat systems background (Fire Control Technician (FT), Sonar Technician (ST), Electronics Technician (ET), or Information Systems Technician (IT))
5+ years with AN/BYG-1, AN/BQQ-10, AN/BLQ-10, or similar systems
Software testing, defect analysis, and requirements validation
Networking fundamentals (UDP, TCP/IP, ICMP, encryption)
Basic Linux command-line proficiency
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Strike Software (TTWCS, TCIP, MDS)
Test equipment assembly and troubleshooting
