JOB SUMMARY:
The Functional Support Engineer I will answer requests for applications support using solutions to routine problems enrich solution database. Responsible for identifing recurring issues and make root cause analysis with solution proposal. Diagnose unknown issues with supervision and develop new solutions. Develop application under supervision to support business efficiency.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Communicate with different users across the facility to understand and solve their issues with different applications using common and team knowledge.
Participate in the creation of Business Analysis processes and related documentation.
Participates in the overall testing of new applications evolutions.
Participates in the technical feasibility studies
Collaborates with the Information Systems teams to define possible technical solutions
Continuously improve the organization by developing business processes as digital workflows
NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or Applied Science from an accredited College or University, –or- Certification as a registered professional engineer in any state of the United States that requires an examination to be certified. May substitute 2 years of directly related work experience for 1 year of college education.
At least 2 years of experience (for level I)
Broad verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft applications
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Visual Basic (or other programming language)
Database principles
Business Analyst experience
Process modeling software
Reporting Software (such as Power BI, Minitab…)
Lean Six Sigma principle knowledge.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work in an open office at a computer for long periods of time.
On occasion, may be around loud noises (riveting, aircraft engines, etc. ).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The compensation for this position typically falls between $58,000 and $78,000. This position is not eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
